At The Oxford Exchange, we believe that an elite intensive residential experience (in addition to a student’s regular year school work) is the key to unlocking your true potential. We designed this leadership programme for future female leaders aged 16 and over.

Through classes, seminars and individual tutorials held at University College in the magical university city of Oxford, England, young female leaders will learn from university instructors, tutors, and mentors from Oxford University. The curriculum is designed to enhance each Athena Scholar’s ability to research, write, debate, and present her ideas effectively and persuasively.

Athenians will engage in courses taught at an undergraduate level including PPE (Philosophy, Politics, and Economics), International Relations, Business Leadership, Research & Writing. The Oxford Exchange hire think tank researchers and experts to conduct special seminars on Religion & Global Politics, Global Health & Medicine, New Technologies (Space Diplomacy taught by a former NASA Official), Natural Resource Management and GIS, and other key topics.

At The Oxford Exchange, we believe that everyone has the potential to learn and grow, regardless of his or her background or experience. We are committed to providing a supportive and inclusive environment where all students can thrive and achieve their goals.

Do you have students wondering whether engineering is the right career path for them? Or students that are creative and need some inspiration for where their career path may lie?  If yes, then TEDI-London has the perfect online taster programme for them this November.

Back for a second time this year, our free ‘Thinking Ahead’ programme gives students the opportunity to develop a design with sustainability and user needs in mind, as well as how to pitch their idea – all key skills for future engineers!  It’s also a great chance for students to top-up their personal statements.

The programme is fully online for students to take part in outside of their regular studies and is structured over two weeks:

When is it?

Phase 1: Think like an engineer | 26 November – 6 December

We’ll send over our interactive learning content to get students thinking like engineers. They can access and read this at their own pace to fit around their schedules.

Phase 2: Create like an engineer | 6 December – 13 December

Students will be set our challenge brief and have the week to come up with a design solution. Throughout there will be online sessions with the TEDI-London team and industry professionals to help students with the challenge and learn more about the world of engineering.

How can students apply?

Students must be 16 and over to take part. They can take part individually or as a group (max 5 people). They will need to fill out a form on our website to apply by Monday 20 November latest.

What is it?
