As a result, our alumni have graced the world’s stages, starred in countless television shows and films, and captivated audiences worldwide. They are true changemakers, redefining the boundaries of art and performance.

As we step into the New Year, we invite students to embark on a journey to make their dreams a reality – and it all starts with an audition.

Applying to AMDA is a seamless process, tailored to meet the specific requirements of each program. To get started, we welcome students to attend an AMDA Open House, held in both the vibrant cities of New York and Los Angeles!

At our Open Houses, students will get a glimpse of the immersive life of an AMDA student and discover our world-class faculty, who bring unparalleled expertise to our performing arts curriculum. They will have the unique opportunity to engage in insightful Q&A sessions with AMDA alumni and faculty, gain valuable insights into financial aid and scholarship options, and receive personalized guidance throughout the admission process. We eagerly anticipate the chance to connect with students and share the transformative AMDA experience with them.

Developing a Portfolio and Attending Art School in the United States

Are you interested in studying art and design in the United States? Would you like to get tips on creating an art portfolio? This workshop will provide an overview of the different kinds of major/programs, accreditation considerations, portfolio requirements, and answer your questions about the application process.

Ideation and Careers in Art and Design

Ideation is the process of generating ideas and solutions through sessions such as sketching, researching, prototyping, brainstorming, and a wealth of other ideation techniques. This session will help you transition from identifying problems to creating solutions to strengthen your portfolio. Representatives will also provide examples of career pathways within the fields of art and design.

Be inspired by Virtual Creative Workshops this summer!

We hope you’re having a good summer holiday, after a busy end to the academic year. During the summer and through the Autumn term, we’re continuing our support to students across the globe with our Virtual Creative Workshops.

Open to students, teachers and counsellors, these free online sessions run the first Wednesday of every month. These practical, interactive sessions are perfect for keeping those creative juices flowing and learning new skills. This is also a great opportunity for students to speak with our academic and support staff about any questions they may have about higher education, studying in the UK or AUB.
