Parsons Paris offers online courses that enable high schoolers interested in learning about fashion to explore this exciting field before they get to college. The choices include a course on the business side of fashion, one on the design side and one on sustainable fashion.
This is an online course taught through video lectures by three top industry experts. Topics covered include how trends are born, how sustainability drives innovation, how social media creates a fan base, and more. For those interested in the business of fashion, this course is a must.
This is an online course designed for high schoolers who wish to learn about the way fashion is made, the process top designers use to create original style, and the role fashion plays in our culture. Through video lectures by a Parisian fashion designer, students witness how a garment is made, from concept to completion. A final assignment invites students to create their own signature look. This course is ideal for budding designers.
Discover the innovative ways the fashion industry is transforming itself to align with environmental responsibility. Learn about the life cycles of products, eco-friendly approaches to design and materials, the push toward “green branding,” plus college majors and careers related to sustainable fashion.
Personal Mentoring for Guidance—Asynchronous Learning for Flexibility
As one of the nation’s longest running and most highly regarded precollege academic programs, it gives students the chance to:
Students choose from undergraduate Cornell courses in Arts, Architecture, Business, Hospitality, Health, Humanities, International Relations, Science, Technology, Social Change, Veterinary Medicine, and more. Students can also create their own six- or nine-week program.
Courses are offered between June 1 and August 3, 2021. Limited financial aid is available.
ArtCenter’s open house (online!) is an opportunity for prospective students to virtually connect with various members of the ArtCenter College of Design community through engaging programming, including information sessions for both undergraduate and graduate programs, student-guided campus tours, student and faculty panels, portfolio preparation, in addition to programming offered by the Center for Diversity, Equity and Inclusion (DEI) and Office of Career and Professional Development.
The schedule will allow for prospective undergraduate and graduate students to select which sessions they choose to participate in throughout the day.

To ensure students have access to the ArtCenter virtual programming, please register today. Once registered, prospective students will receive a confirmation via email and an additional reminder 24-hours in advance of the program with a Zoom access link to each session.

On Saturday, February 6 from 2 to 5 p.m. PST, virtually meet with an ArtCenter Admissions Counselor and receive valuable feedback and guidance on your portfolio prior to submitting an application. Additionally, ask questions about ArtCenter application process, portfolio requirements, etc…
