Designed for intellectually curious high-school students, the Johns Hopkins Engineering Innovation’s online summer courses allow curiosity to flourish through imaginative, hands-on STEM-based activities.
Registration is now open for summer 2021.
Offered virtually this summer, Explore Engineering Innovation is designed by trusted scientists and engineers from Johns Hopkins University, so you can be sure the academic rigor and ingenuity runs deep throughout the course. Participants build a spaghetti bridge, program a microcontroller, pitch an imaginary product or service, and more. Students also have the opportunity to earn college credit.
In Biomedical Engineering Innovation students model biological systems and design experiments to test their models. They use engineering principles to solve problems that are biological, physiological, and/or medical. Ever wonder how to improve your body’s strength, efficiency, or reaction time? Test your own theory during the independent research project. Students who earn an A or B will receive three college credits from Johns Hopkins.
