University of Reading – October 2020

Virtual Undergraduate Open Day:

Due to current government advice regarding the coronavirus pandemic, the University of Reading are sadly unable to run on-campus events. However, they are working hard to provide a range of online resources and virtual events in place.

The Virtual Undergraduate Open Day will take place on Saturday 10 October. Find out more about subjects of interest or attend a talk about halls, finance, study abroad, student life, or careers. This is a great opportunity for students interested in Reading on finding out first-hand what life is like being a Reading student and ask questions to our staff and current students.

British Council Gateway to the UK (EU) Event:

You may already be aware that the British Council will be offering a virtual event this autumn as it is not possible for the usual in country events to take place. Reading will be joining the Gateway to the UK event which starts on 19 October and will run until 13 November 2020.

Students will also have the opportunity to book an individual appointment with me during the 4 weeks of the event. They can do this from the website and there are lots of times available. It will be a good chance for them to find out more and ask any questions they may have.

Virtual 1-2-1 Meetings with International Students:

The international recruitment team is pleased to offer international students the opportunity to book a virtual 1-2-1 meeting with a regional specialist about our entry requirements, courses or living and studying in Reading in general. This will provide prospects with a personal counselling experience.
