Nurturing, challenging and inspiring learners requires providing them with opportunities for self-directed learning. As part of our strategic plan, the Board and administration of MIS wish to develop plans for spaces, tools and personnel to support students in pursuing their individual passions and curiosity.

We are exploring how we can develop spaces to enable students to work with audio-visual materials (lights, microphones, cameras), digital tools (app development, coding, robotics, 3D printers), and diverse materials (wood, fabrics, recycled materials, etc) as they explore, prototype and create. The spaces, tools and personnel would also be a resource for students as they participate in the PYP Exhibition, the MYP Personal Project and the DP Extended Essay.
