‘Tis the Season for Giving

If you stopped by the Middle School Foyer from the 6th to the 10th of November, during homeroom, lunch, or break, you would most likely have seen a dedicated team of 8th grade volunteers and teachers receiving, arranging, and wrapping colourful gift boxes- 136, in fact. Now, if you didn’t realise what this was for,(despite the rather energetic marketing,), here’s your chance to find out. The Geschenk mit Herz project was an effort to collect gift boxes to donate to children in need, a project led by 8th graders and assisted by Ms. Healy. So, to contributors, volunteers, and Ms. Healy, thank you, and a very happy holiday season. You certainly made someone else‘s holidays quite enjoyable.

Students collect toiletries, stuffed animals, school supplies and candy, then wrap them in boxes to be given away (Ayra H./The Buchhof Bulletin)

Isla T. and Eloise H, Grade 8 help wrap gifts as two of the main organizers of the event (Ayra H./The Buchhof Bulletin).
